WOLFE
Nice to talk to you too! Well, I have a new job in a local town doing collections for a propane company which is great! Nothing beats only having to drive 15 minutes from home. It's hard to find any jobs in my area that are good and not an hour away so that’s a blessing. My husband and I have been keeping ourselves busy on the weekends doing what we love from air boating , bow fishing , hog hunting and deer hunting. We had an outfitter in Missouri called Weaubleau Creek Outfitters invite us out on a deer hunt which we just got back from this past week. You can check them out on www.weaubleaucreekoutfitters.com . Steve and his wife Anna are great people and they have a TON of turkeys and deer there. We didn't get a buck while we were there because the full moon had the deer moving at night. A few days prior to us getting there our guide Deven got a nice 11pt and also another hunter got a 13pt. After we hunted there for 2 days we headed to West Virginia to hunt at my husband’s family’s farm which was a lot of fun as well! I let a 6pt walk the first morning hoping a big daddy would walk out later but that never happened. My husband lucked out the last afternoon there and shot an 8 pt. So,I have been keeping myself busy with work and of course hunting!

What did you do for Halloween this year and what did you dress up as?
WOLFE
I LOVE dressing up so when Halloween comes around I like to go all out and have a costume that I won’t see anyone else wearing. Last year I won 2 costume contests with my peacock costume which I made!! This year I didn’t have the time to make one so I ordered mine but when I did I looked and looked for one that was perfect. I’m not a cat fan but I was a cat for Halloween. Not your average cat though! My friend Lora and I have went out for Halloween the past 2 years to some local places that have Halloween contests, this year I was a cat and she was a mouse! I wasn’t able to win this past year because of the rules, they like to make it fair for all so no one can win two years in a row which was okay because I still had a blast!

First I find out that you hunt gators and hogs and now I find out you take Stingrays with a bow. Is there anything you don't hunt?? I want you to share with me what it's like to take a Stingray with a bow. Do they put up a fight or is it dead the moment you hit it? I bet they taste like crap! We don't get Stingrays up here in Minnesota so tell me everything!
WOLFE
Is there anything I don’t hunt?? Well, there’s a lot I haven’t had the opportunity to hunt but I take advantage of what I can hunt here in North Florida. Bow fishing is a BLAST. If you haven’t done it before it’s a must! When we go bow fishing in the gulf we tend to see a bunch of stingrays. My husband is awesome and he does the shining and boat driving and lets me do the bow fishing The last time we went and got into all the big rays I shot one with my bow that was about 30 pounds and I thought he put up a fight... until I shot the next ray which weighed in at 52 pounds. He was a monster and when you ask if they put up a fight...you better hope you ate your wheaties that morning! You have to reel and reel and let them get tired, then once you get them in you have to watch their tail because they are not called stingrays for nothing! As far as how they taste, have you had a scallop? Most of the time when you order scallops you are really getting stingray. They take and punch holes through the stingray fins. So yes, the meat is good!

The last time we talked we discussed gator hunting and what that experience is like. We agreed that at some point you would invite me along on a gator hunt in Florida. That never happened which means one of three things:
A. You forgot about me.
B. You didn't forget about me. You simply decided to blow me off for more exciting things.
C. You had every intention of taking me on a gator hunt but you were too busy and couldn't find the time.
WOLFE
Do you really think I could forget about my buddy in Minnesota? Hardly! We put in to get a permit this year but unfortunately didn't get drawn. I hope we have better luck next year and if so you will be the first one I will call! Don't forget you still owe me a duck hunt!

Let's discuss Airboats for a minute. I work for Beavertail and i'm surrounded by kick ass, first class boats and motors every day and still wonder what it would be like to be at the controls of an Airboat. Describe to me what it's like. Tell me the types of terrain you can maneuver through. How fast are they and have you ever been at the controls of one?
WOLFE
I grew up riding on airboats. They are so much fun. I can’t think of a thing that you can get in and drive that compares. As far as terrain you can go anywhere in them. My husband and I drive the airboat in our yard from time to time when we get bored. The only thing they don’t do well in is sand. How fast are they?? Well, a good way to put it is how much do you have to spend? Two important things with airboats and speed is a good prop and plenty of horse power. They have airboat races in South Florida all the time. I drive our airboat on the gulf marsh and in the yard from time to time.

I know for a fact that you love Chevy trucks so let's play a little hypothetical game. Let's say you are stranded on a dark highway and Brad Pitt drives up in a Ford truck and offers you a lift into town. As you are talking to Brad a Chevy truck pulls up and some creepy nerd gets out and offers you a ride into town. What truck is Rebecca Wolfe getting into on that dark highway?? Keep in mind the creepy nerd is driving the Chevy!
WOLFE
I’d rather push a Chevy then drive a Ford. I’m getting in with the nerd!!
FLYWAY
This afternoon I was in a local gas station and this woman stopped me and said I looked like Matt Damon. Should I take that as a compliment or was she really saying that I am hideous?
WOLFE
Who’s Matt Damon? HaHa. I had to look him up. I have to say it depends. "All The Pretty Horses" is my all time favorite movie and he’s looking pretty good in it so I think it’s a compliment!
FLYWAY
Do you believe in life after death and if so, do you think we will be able to hunt and fish in Heaven? I believe that God wants me to be happy and if that is the case then I will be duck hunting in Heaven. Your thoughts?
WOLFE
I believe we all go to heaven and I think that everyone's Heaven will be what they want it to be. So, if your love is hunting it will be a hunting Heaven with all the people you love!

WOLFE
PETA. Liars. Vegetarians. I think it's Un-American to not eat meat!

Tell us about Bud Wolfe and Virginia Fay Hatfield and how you are related to them. One is a Hall of Famer and the other is related to the Hatfield and McCoy's and was also an extra in the tv show Miami Vice. I will let you do the explaining.....
WOLFE
My Mother is Virginia Fay Hatfield, she is from the mountains of Virginia and is related the well known Hatfield’s and McCoy’s. She did some modeling in her younger years before she became a mother and got to be an extra in the TV Show Miami Vice where she was on the beach sporting her bikini and a pretty smile! Bud Wolfe is my Grandpa who I call Poppop. He’s a Hall of Famer in Sporting Clays and he’s traveled the world with renowned recognition in skeet and speed shooting. The Bud Wolfe Classic is held annually in Fort Lauderdale.

Tell me some of your other interests and hobbies that don't include killing everything that crosses your path.
WOLFE
I have to say I loving doing makeup. I went to Esthetician school when I was about 20. I never took my state board test but I love giving facials and also love doing peoples makeup. Besides that I enjoy riding four wheelers, shopping, and cooking.

Next year you and your husband should head north and duck hunt with the Minnesota Flyway crew. We will show you what northern hospitality is all about and get you both hooked on duck and goose hunting. It may cost you a gator or Stingray hunt in return!
WOLFE
I say lets Get R Dun! My father grew up duck hunting with his dad and four brothers and I have always wanted to go! After our duck hunt you will come down to Florida and we will get you hooked on gator, hog, and bow fishing! Can't wait!!
